we’re talking about the same jj abrams who wrote/directed ep7 which had the interrogation scene and the fight in the forest AND executive produced ep8 (which means he oversaw the entire process of the creation and release of tlj) AND is just not going to pull a 180 in ep 9 and disregard the two previous films (kathleen would have smth to say about that). this is not some trashy cw tv show, the storylines matter and they will be continued.

HOW DARE YOU SLANDER MY BEAUTIFUL CW TV SHOW PLEASURES. jk, it’s true – movies like this will pick a lane and stick with it because they want the storylines to resonate and be robust and Reylo is the lane they set up from the get go AND THEY ONLY HAVE SO MUCH TIME.

JJ Abrams HIMSELF said that he wished he had written TLJ once he read Rian’s script – that dude is excited by Reylo and there’s no way he’s not going to give them the ending THEY DESERVE.

And AGAIN I TELL YOU ALL, you do not (Kathleen does not) just hire Adam Driver and not put that man to work. He is an incredible actor with range, while also sensual x1q00 – and then you put him in a room with DAISY? JFC. UST for days.

Probably, but whether they rationally believe it is another thing…

a lot of people who might be concerned with that are being really cautious and wound up – I get that way sometimes too! I had a few panic moments with some friends thinking Kylo was gonna die in this movie, lol…evne though rATIONALLY THAT’S NEVER GONNA HAPPEN lol

I got my fuckin hopes up and was pretty happy until kylo ruined it and now idk if i should still keep my hopes up for reylo ending :(

Emotions are complicated things, especially for someone with as much history to deal with as Kylo (even though he says he let the past die LOL @ KYLO ok dude).

He can’t do a radical 180 in one movie, he took the first step though by killing Snoke and bonding so hard with Rey.

According to you what rey wanted to do with the lightsaber after the throne room rejection? I heard people saying she wanted to finish him, but i dont think so, ( i really hope so) like they have a deep spiritual connection and experienced it together. And they helped each other duting the fight and everything…What do you think?? :(

IMO if she wanted to finish him she would have killed him when he was laying there, with his lightsaber still clipped to his side, and she instead just left.

She wanted her lightsaber back IMO, mostly – she saw he was unwilling to come with her, or whatever, and she wanted to LEAVE.

It IS a good thing to speculate on and I can’t wait to see more metas about it.

Tbh i reaaallyy hate kylo on TFA but after i watched TLJ HOLLYSHIT I’M IN LOVE WITH HIS BOND WITH REY AND I’M 100% A REYLO SHIPPER NOW AND I CAN’T STOP FANGIRLING HEELPPP!!! i can’t wait for eps IX reaally wish for rylo ending and i got so much hope eventho i know there’s a big possibility that they won’t end up together and it’s killing me dear God HELP MEEE
