i want to contain myself with reylo fic, but i cant remember the fic that i read before *poor me*. so do you have any suggest for kylo ren redempion’ fics? (and sorry for my english)

Do you think the force bond between Rey and Kylo is gone? Some people are worried about that but if the writers wanted to go down that route, wouldn’t they have destroyed the bond when Kylo killed Snoke? Why have it at the end with Kylo giving her a look that shows that their relationship is very much unresolved?

The force bond is real and still alive and IMO not influenced or created by Snoke as he wanted Kylo to believe. They emphasized that it was still there at the end – them looking at each other was a force bond scene, plain and simple. That was well after Snoke’s death and any possible influence.

Why would the writers spend a movie creating this new thing in star wars – this force bond ON SCREEN – only to then break it at the end? That wouldn’t make any sense. They went down that road because they will be tied by it from here on out. They have shared destinies and that’s that.

THAT’S what the look at the end is supposed to show.

People assuming that bc Kylo took on the emperor role he’s evil now didn’t pay any attention to the rest of the movie. At the end they showed how broken Kylo is, is that an evil person? I expect antis to deliberately misinterpret things like this, but not Reylo fans. He’s not evil, if he were, people wouldn’t be walking out of this movie shipping Reylo. Why is it that the GA is getting this but people who have been fans since TFA, when we had way less shippiness onscreen, aren’t? IDGI.

I don’t think it’s intentional, I think people have been SO hyped for this – two years of it! that the first viewing you’re running high on emotions. You really have to watch it a second time to overrule that. So people might not be watching with their normally critical eye.

The movie did what it was supposed to do – convince the general audience that Kylo is complicated and human and redeemable AND also that Reylo is a thing they should want.

Which means that when we start picking it apart it’ll be even more incredible.

Do you think finn still have feelings for rey and rey’s jealous of finn and rose? Do you think kylo really wants to kill rey in the end and rey hating him still thinks that he’s a monster? Sorry that just what i’ve been wondering a lot after watching TLJ

I think that Finn & Rey’s feelings for each other are familial in nature, brother and sister – a strong strong bond to protect and care for, but nothing more. Finn may be or may have been interested for a hot second, but I never got anything like that from Rey.

I don’t think Rey has it in her to be jealous of Finn and Rose. She looked so softly at them in the end, like ‘awww they’re cute, I’m so happy to have my friend back and that he’s okay.’

And I think Kylo is posturing a loooot – he was wild with emotion, totally irrational, and he’s all ‘I’ll destroy her, and you, and the resistance!’ with a wildlook in his eyes.

And then at the end, after everything calms down and he’s alone, he sees Rey in the falcon. And what does he do? He doesn’t move to go to her, to stop her, or even speak.

He just fucking S T A R E S at her like she’s his lifeline. And Rey stares back, disappointed – but not angry.

What do u think of rey’s and kylo’s vision about each other in the future? they have different visions and none of em are actually true which kinda confused me cause i thought those kind of visions should be real?? :/ thought or theories? Or predictions maybe?

They both are seeing the same future for each other. Rey’s vision wasn’t clear, she just saw it as firm – as Ben Solo. Kylo only saw it as her by his side.

They both assumed it meant that each one would come to the others’ ‘side’ – when in reality the truth lay in the middle. That She would be by his side – in the middle, the balance, not renperor.

Didn’t rian johnson said there won’t be any romance or anything equivalent to han and leia romantic story & stuff? Wdyt? What did he means by that?

That was kind of a ‘debunked’ article statement. The author kind of took some creative editorial license with the quote from Rian.

As you can tell, there was certainly romance…I would say honestly that it’s more overpowering than Han/Leia, but not overt – Han/Leia obviously like said ILU, kissed, all that stuff – so it was more obvious.

Reylo is all about dat subtext and subtlety, but it is nonetheless VERY present.

I gotta feeling. I think we will see Rey in dark side as a spy of Resistance. Leia or someone else will ask her to do it. With this action Resistance will always know that where is FO or what their intensions are. But i’m not sure. Kylo is very strong with the force and if something happens like that i’m sure he will perceive it. Rey can’t hide this truth from him. I don’t know.. i feel like we will see Rey on Kylo’s side. She will join the dark side anyway whatever her purpose is.

I don’t think it’ll be about sides anymore, it’ll be all about balance. Not pure light nor pure dark.

I do think Rey might use the bond to the resistance’s advantage though. Instead of heart to hearts, they have strategic power struggles in their force bond moments, lol.

And I think we’ll see the force bond idea expanded on – right now it’s just seemingly random moments, but it might expand to true force bond where they’re always aware and present in each others’ minds.
