Hilarious.  It doesn’t mean anything more than John finding this amusing.  (My only quibble is I would’ve switched Finn and Poe; the latter is more “jockish” IMO.)

Unless he’s dropping a hint that in IX, Hux will lock everyone in a room on a Saturday and demand they write essays about why it’s bad to oppose the First Order (in Kylo’s case, why it’s bad to have the hots for the Resistance’s Jedi Babe).  Chewie and the droids will help them escape but not before they write a group essay.  

I like the speculation that Kelly showed it to him and he decided he had to post it.

it’s so frustrating to sit here with nothing to do and nothing to read up on (really), nothing to watch, and knowing you should probably write some more on one of your WIPs and then…

you just keep tabbing around aimlessly instead of, you know, writing.

I apparently guilted myself into writing with this, yessss. Only 1300 words but STILL.

and predictably after a lot of consideration for chapter 2 and future direction, I have made the hard choice to scrap this fic idea. 5000+ words down the drain (for now). I’ve been trying since JUNE to make it work

And it’s just not coming together, I can’t get anything about it right. The first chapter is GREAT, but it’s not at all what I wanted for this prompt, and I can’t figure out how to make it work moving forward. Maybe at some point I’ll chop it up, or just post as a one-shot…idk..MAN this is making me sad. 

But let this be another lesson for me: I am an architect not a gardener, and I must plan my stories before writing them or else I get stuck here.
