regardless of your feelings towards kylo ben you have to admit that the way kyle mister-i-have-to-dramatically-yell-every-order-i-give looks at hugs after dude screams ron’s one and only calm order is one of the funniest if not the fuckinfg funniest moment in the movie like

another one of my favourite scenes :’)

I imagine Kylo and Hux having a relationship like Michael Scott and Toby Flenderson 😂

Literally Hux at Ren in TLJ

How can you not think General Hux is going to attempt or carry out a coup/mutiny against Supreme Leader Ren when the visual dictionary for The Last Jedi states the following about him:

dark-and-light-rise:

daxcat79:

i-live-in-the-reylo-moon:

Hux loathes Kylo Ren, and takes pleasure in Kylo’s failures.

The fact that Kylo had to be rescued from Starkiller Base after being bested by a lightsaber novice delights the young general.

Hux is responsible for the deaths of billions, having given the order to fire the Starkiller at the heavily populated Hosnian system.

A man of no scruples who craves power above all, Hux has despatched many enemies or would-be foes before they became too dangerous a threat – including his own father.

Hux coveted the Supremacy.

He desires the title of “grand marshal”.

He has a delicate ego – didn’t like Poe calling him “General Hugs”.

He has a Captain in his command who carries out his dirty work – from assassination to sabotage – in order to ensure that no enemy – whether First Order to otherwise – can get the better of him.

He hides a monomolecular-blade dagger in his sleeve.

I think Kylo best watch his back.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Hux goes searching for a Force user to kill Kylo Ren in an effort to rise to Supreme Leader. He’s not gonna endure getting thrown around by Kylo Ren. The rivalry between them was too strong.

To those who said Hux is just for laughs, please see above.

To those who think Hux is weak and won’t be able to kill/plot against Kylo/Ben because he doesn’t have control over the Force – recall Order 66? All those clones didn’t have any ounce of Force power yet they killed 99% of the Jedi. The element of surprise + sheer numbers (I bet Hux has control over the FO officers and troopers) can overpower even the most skilled Force user.

Personally, it will be interesting to see a big bad who cannot use the Force. Just like the Rey heroes-can-come-from-anywhere storyline, Hux can be the villans-can-come-from-anywhere one.

I would say it would be a nice twist too. We always expect the big bad to be a Force user, that’s a good point, but Snoke has been building this rivalry since the start. That look Hux gave Kylo at the end of The Last Jedi was pretty menacing. He wants Kylo’s power. He was ready to kill him when he saw Kylo unconscious. He’s definitely dangerous.

All of this is correct, Force users aren’t infallible against an entire army. I’m definitely on the coup side of the argument – one that will happen VERY fast after TLJ. I suspect we open Ep 9 with a very different landscape in terms of power chess pieces.

Okay but at any point was Hux like “What the fUCK was The Girl™ doing here anyway?!”

hux knows something is up, he’s a snake and will bide his time. he knows he can’t take kylo out one on one, but kylo can’t hold onto the power with the entire trooper army against him

that or hux is gonna shank him at the first opportunity with that hidden knife he has in his sleeve

he’s not an idiot, as much as we wish he was. he knows what happened – it would shock me if those little glass things didn’t go both ways and record the events.
