Mark Hamill confirmed, as he put it, the “romantic tension” between Rey and Kylo. He also referred to him as his naughty nephew and said he still thinks of him as Ben, which is beautifully bittersweet now that we know what we know.

He likes calling Ben the naughty nephew, but OMGGGG I can’t believe he just straight out said romantic tension (UST UST UST) – I love that man.

And yeah I think it’s sweet that he thinks of him as Ben, so does Rey – Rey would very much be part of the fandom that thinks of them as split personalities – Ben as good and Kylo as bad, lol.

just came home from the movie, i loved it so muuuuuch. All the reylo scenes were beautiful in their own tragic way, they reminded me of a concoction of pride and prejudice and wuthering heights. But, BUT, there was that moment in the end with rey and poe, and please, pleeeease allay my fears of anything potentially happening between those two instead of rey and kylo, because a friend said that he saw sth there and I could literally feel my left side go numb

Pride and Prejudice in sPACE

Also MAN there are a lot of people really concerned about Poe and Rey – it was literally a moment like the scene with Chewie and Leia – like a ‘haha they never actually met over two movies we should really do a scene where they meet’ kind of thing. That’s all it was. I know it seemed a bit odd and out of place, but yall that’s IT.

They don’t spend TWO MOVIES building up Rey and Kylo – ROMANTIC AND SEXUAL TENSION GALORE – only to not go through with it and put her with Poe whom she has spoken TWO WORDS to.

T W O W OR D S

i guess. i suppose it just makes me sad that leia has given up on him. it makes her a pretty deplorable mother to be honest, parents aren’t ever supposed to do that.

She hasn’t really given up on him, but keep in mind that he did JUST kill Han, and she thinks probably that it was also his silencer shots that destroyed the bridge (she felt him and saw the Silencer).

I think she’s just being realistic from her POV – she has to deal with the Resistance now and she feels she can’t get anywhere with Kylo. She’s allowed some wavering moments of doubt, mother or no – but Luke corrected her ‘no one is ever really gone.’

I do think it’s just heartbreaking in general that the choices Kylo has made, coupled with all the shit he went through, has prevented any one in his life prior to Rey from being able to get through to him.

I can relate to that ask you got about how negatively people react if you say you are a Kylo fan and ship Reylo. It’s the reason I stay quiet about it and only talk about Kylo/Reylo through anonymous asks. The antis are absolutely abusive and completely incapable of accepting others have different opinions than they do. None of us are telling them to like Kylo or ship Reylo, so like.. stay in your own lane.

Yeah it’s really unfortunate, I totally respect the choices people make to stay hidden – I mean, I made whole other accounts because of it initially =)

People think that we think that all antis are just those who dislike the ship – no, being an anti implies ACTIVE loathing and harassment of those who like the ship. They’re ruthless and dumb.

I’m sorry they force fandom people to be quiet and not enough the love in the fandom, but I get it 100%.

Many people are talking about how much the actors didn’t like the script, but i refuse to believe JJ would let a script ruin the magic that is Star Wars, i mean.. I can understand the actors not luking wheere their characters are going, but JJ made auch a good job with Lawrence in the force awakens, he loves the universe of Star Wars, i don’t think he would have let anyone ruin it all, this is not a side movie that can go wrong, this is the main trilogy.. They have to know what are they doing.

Only Daisy and Mark were concerned about it – because it was SO different, they weren’t sure (Daisy in particular) if audiences would like it – like her trajectory, etc. She was very concerned – but they both said that they GET IT now, so that’s a moot point.

Either way, JJ Abrams is going to come in and finish the trilogy strong to wrap up all the stuff Rian set up as well – keep in mind, JJ also said he wished he had written TLJ himself and could direct it! He was an executive producer on it so he was intimately familiar with it all.

I think also, remember that Colin Trevorrow was ULTIMATELY replaced with JJ because Trevorrow disagreed with the way they wanted to handle Leia not being in Ep 9 – because Carrie is gone, and Leia was going to be a huge role.

So they’re not afraid to make changes, and they trust JJ so much that you shouldn’t be concerned about it.

He gave us Reylo in the first place =)
