I’m so sorry guys, i’m just clearing out my Likes, it’s been like 100 years.

I find it quite hilarious that I gain more followers when I post NOTHING for weeks on end… practically being inactive aside from the lurking.

And lose several dozen when I post more than 5 things in one go and spend more than 10 mins online. XD

I get it! I cleared out my likes a few months before TLJ. I had thousands in there (and even more in my drafts). My queue was full for months and months, going like 30 posts a day. BUT I HAD TO GET THEM ALL OUT. I couldn’t just NOT post them. They were too great, lol.

Regarding Kylo Ren and Rey concerning the hut scene (starts around 56:00):

“…The shock of that is Rey isn’t telling Luke, she’s telling Ben and all of a sudden, we as the audience… who have watched them like contending with each other are like, ‘Whoa! Wait a minute! What has happened? This changes everything!’… You know, Rian has sort of jokingly called it the equivalent of a Star Wars sex scene–which is funny, but it has some truth in it and that’s one thing I find that’s so interesting about Rey and Ben is, you know, there are shippers, my pals, the Reylos, who… want to see that as a romantic relationship ultimately and that’s entirely possible, they certainly may be right about that or they might not be…

Everything in the storytelling is so nicely poised to go either way… I don’t think it’s wrong in any way to think that it’s in someways like a romantic relationship, but that’s also limiting because you know a romantic relationship is kind of the closest analog we have to the experience that Rey and Ben are having in that movie and that they actually started having that back in The Force Awakens (my addition: WE TOLD YOU SO)... they have literally been each other’s minds. They have seen each other’s pasts, they’ve seen each other’s deepest fears. Ben sees what Rey has basically lied to herself about and that’s an experience that is more intimate than anything that any of us has ever had. So we wind up kind of reaching for analogs to something we can’t actually know. Which is fascinating. I can see that story developing any number of ways (Me: we know you ship it, Jason, it’s okay)… It’s a middle chapter, after IX, hopefully, the arc of that story will… we’ll be able to see it all and it will make sense to us. ”

My addition: I AM DYING. This just in: Reylo is EVERYTHING (to meeeee).

Basically, Ben and Rey are soulmates and their connection is something that’s beyond the confines of a regular romantic relationship because it’s so deep and intimate.

Jason is clear that this is the midpoint in the series and that he doesn’t know for certain what’s going to happen in the third movie (and that we’re all speculating at this point), but it’s nice that he had this perspective concerning Reylo, regardless. Also, shout out to Jason for calling him “Ben” throughout and for the Reylo Fandom callout <3. I dunno, I just appreciate it.

Great listen, all around and lots of interesting tidbits and *cough* validation.

🤘🏻My Reylo’s so bloody all of this. Then again, we knew all of this from the start🔥
