And remember how Padmé held the necklace Anakin gave her? Imagine Rey sliding the pieces of her sabre under his limp hands, having nothing else to offer him but feeling like she must anyway. For the briefest of moments she swears she feels his hand grip hers as she does, as though he’s more interested in her than the sabre.
