I think that was exactly the point. Ethereal Dark Angel is almost inhuman. Like it’s his first time coming in touch with mortals. And he is captivated by this particular one. TLJ messy, sleep deprived, broken, deshevled disaster is HOT. He’s flesh and blood. He sweats and cries. He is VERY corporeal (ok, swolo) under those dark garments. He is human, therefore – he can love and be loved, experience and induce desire. He can be TOUCHED (the story is really hammering this).
And it has been just one(1) day since his life threatening injuries, massive blood loss and subsequent traumatic treatment with no rest and break. I am pretty sure we all look like a zombie post-surgery.
